Expert Series

The Expert (Digging Deep) Series is designed to provide Vermont educators with the opportunity to learn from and engage with experts who have established credibility in creating Instructional Practices, Flexible Pathways, Local Comprehensive Assessments and Proficiency-Based Learning (PBL) Systems.

Proficiency-Based Learning

This professional learning will be a series of four separate sessions with nationally recognized PBL experts who share stories of the work being completed across the country, including models of effective practices related to Proficiency-Based Graduation Requirements.  During the 2016-17 school year, Karin Hess (President, Educational Research in Action) will lead this professional learning series.
