The Expert (Digging Deep) Series for Creating Proficiency Scales to Guide Instruction and Assessments / Structures for Bodies of Evidence Consistent with Flexible Pathways for Meeting PBGR include two full-day session with nationally recognized Proficiency-Based Learning experts who share stories of the work being completed across the country, including models of effective practices. Participants will use examples and protocols to collaboratively:

- Analyze the technical quality of PBGR assessment tasks and rubrics,
- Explore pre-mid-post assessment task shells consistent with proficiency scales, and
- Discuss implications for instruction and collecting evidence (foundational to advanced performance), and (5) Consider use of common vs. task specific rubrics in building a manageable “body of evidence” for each student.
